Language Teaching Methodology Abstract: On the methodological problem is the core issue of language teaching. For a long time, foreign language pedagogy research the existence of “either-or” polarization orientation: there is always a teaching pedagogy deny the former; in the coexistence of a variety of teaching situations, it often was divided, mutual do not give way. This reflects two aspects: one is methodological problems, namely, what kind of foreign language teaching and research methodology to guide the other hand, the “approach” the level of conceptual problems. In order to clarify these issues this paper, the definition of language teaching, history, current situation and future development were discussed more fully.
