Note: 若谓语动词是hope ，宾语从句中的否定词不能转移。 I hope things are not so bad with you. 我希望你的情况不是很糟。 2、 not … because结构中 He didn’t go to see the film because he likes it. 他并不是(因为)喜欢那部电影才去的。 I didn’t teach because teaching is easy. 我不是因为教书容易才作老师的。 3 感官系动词 seem, appear, feel, look as if, sound as if ,etc. It doesn’t look as if he is from the South. 他看起来不像从南方来的。 It doesn’t sound as if he knows what was happening. 听起来他好像不知道正在发生什么事情。 二 双重否定 Double Negation 否定副词 not + 否定意义的词 = “否定+否定=肯定” 加强语气，有时表委婉. Nothing is impossible. 没有什么是不可能的。/ 一切皆有可能。 What’s done cannot be undone. 事已定局，无可挽回。/ 覆水难收。 三 含蓄否定Implied Negation 形式肯定，意义否定。无需用否定词作用的词有 n./ v. /a./ prep. /phrase They excluded me from entering the room. 他们不许我进房间。 注：exclude排除，不包括在内 The beauty of the Great Wall is beyond words. I’d rather go shopping than watch TV. 四 强调否定Strengthened Negation 在否定句加上某些词和词组，使句子的否定意义得到强调。 我一点差别也看不出来。 I cannot see any difference. 在某些副词后加上否定词 not, 如：absolutely, certainly, surely, definitely, nearly, possibly, really, simply, ect. They had simply no shame. 他们简直不知羞耻。 We cannot possibly do anything harmful to you. 我们无论如何也不能做对你有害的事。 五 部分否定 Partial Negation 由all ，both, every, everything, everybody, everywhere, always, often, completely, entirely, necessarily 等不定代词或副词与not 连用来构成的。否定词 可放在被否定的不定代词或副词前，也可以放在谓语部分，译为“不都”“不会”. *
