Abstract： It,isvery essentialforimproving the forestrymanagementscien_

height，DBH)．Basedonthefielddatagatheredfrom Juglansmandshuricapopula—
ti0n．therelationshipbetweenH andDBH is’regressedwith tenmathematicalrood—
e1s． Theresultsshow an intimate correlation between averageheightandaverage
DBH in Juglansmandshurica population，and the fitting offourregression models

isfarbetter．Intestofapplicability，tilefourregressionmodelsaboveallexhibitabetter
