Professor Kahneman, a psychologist, and his collaborator, Tverskey, have proved in many ways the mistakes of some basic theories of traditional economics. My speech focuses on the theory of Kahneman and its implications, as well as new economics, the revision of traditional economics, and the new direction of economic development. I mainly talk about the difference between the new and conventional economics in the following three aspects: first, the assumption of human behavior, the traditional economics that people are rational, and the new economics that people is rational. Secondly, in the theoretical model, the traditional economics is normative, and the new economics is descriptive. Finally, from the purpose of the study is to research the traditional economics to increase peoples wealth, but I believe that a new direction of research is to study how to increase peoples happiness fundamentally, here is a generalized concept of happiness.
