英汉动物词语的文化内涵及其翻译研究（Cultural connotations and translation studies of English and Chinese animal words） Cultural connotations and translation studies of English and Chinese animal words Abstract: This paper explains the similarities and differences between the two languages in English and Chinese through the detailed analysis of the cultural connotations of related animal words, and then proposes the translation methods of domestication and foreignization. At the same time, I also advocate to promote cross-cultural communication and meet the readers of different language flavor and expression of the demand, we in the translation and animal related words, must fully consider the connotation of the same animal in different cultures and different animal in the same culture, and then adopts the domesticating method and according to the characteristics of the alienation of the original language and the target language. With the deepening of exchanges between countries, the transformation between different languages is particularly important, but due to gas location, customs, religious beliefs, people treat the same kind of animals views and attitudes are not the same, the same animal represented in different cultural connotations in the meaning of may big difference, this requires us in the translation of words and idioms and animal related, must adopt different translation methods, namely, domestication and foreignization, the only way to appropriately convey the original meaning, so that readers can identify and understand the translation, so as to achieve better purpose of cultural exchange.
