Part1. Background Analysis
(一)Analysis of Teaching Content:
This dialogue is mainly about Yang Ling who is trying on some nice clothes and her Mum who is giving her praise. It is related to our natural life so that our students will be interested in it.
(二)Analysis of Students:
The students of Grade3 are active, imaginative and creative. They like to do things with their hands, bodies and minds. It’s necessary for us to organize some hands-on activities for children to do. Due to their short attention span, try to use many short and simple activities instead of one long activity. It is common sense that if an activity is enjoyable, it will be memorable.
Part2. Teaching Aims and learning objectives
(一)Aims on Knowledge:
By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
read , understand and use the following words and phrases: look at, T-shirt, skirt, cap.
read, understand and use these sentences: Look at me! Look at my…
3. know clearly how to give praise.
4. read the dialogue with the right pronunciation and intonation and act it out.
(二)Aims on Skills:
From this lesson, the students can:
make a progress in reading and acting dialogues.
be better at communicating and cooperating.
(三)Aims on Emotion:
From this lesson, the students’ interest of learning English should be cultivated. At the same time, they should know “How to give praise” well.

(一)Key points:
1. Students can understand the dialogue as a whole.
2. Students can role play the dialogue with the right pronunciation and intonation.
3. Students can know “How to give praise” well.
(二)Difficult points:
1. To read the dialogue fluently and understand it well.
2. To act it out.
