By adopting literature and logic analysis, based on the medium and long-term youth development plan (2016-2025) , this paper studied the connotation and theoretical basis of youth sports teachers professional development and analyzed the existing problems in the youth sports teachers professional development. Research concludes that: 1) The major problems of youth sports teachers professional development mainly include: the theoretical knowledge and practical ability to improve, lifelong study consciousness to strengthen, prone to job burnout, plateau phenomenon in professional development; 2) Solutions to youth sports teacher professional development mainly include: use self-directed learning to promote the professional development, use companion to promote the professional development, adopt the micro-standard teaching to promote professional development, adopt the education narrative to promote the professional development, and explicit the tacit knowledge to promote the professional development.
