ADV708 Injection Therapy for Health Professionals (Botulinum Toxin)The information below is a guide to the application process for ADV708. ADV708 has a number of additional requirements alongside submitting a Plymouth University postgraduate application form. The application process will identify that students are registered healthcare professionals working at an advanced level in spasticity or dystonia management. Applicants will have an identified mentor and the support of their work place to carry out the injection of prescription only medicines (Botulinum Toxins) both during and following completion of the module in their workplace. All applicants may be interviewed before the decision to offer a place is made in order to further clarify the above.Applicants will need to adopt or develop a patient group directive, patient specific directive or clinical management plan to continue practising independently following qualification. Whilst guidance will be given on this during the module it is suggested that applicants consider these issue with their workplace and professional body prior to starting the module. As part of the application process you will be asked to provide a number of pieces of information, a list and summary of process is below. Please be aware that all offers of places will be conditional to satisfactory submission of additional information and completion of a telephone interview where appropriate.
