What is a sales contract?
When will the contract go into effect?
If the parties enter into a contract in written form, the contract shall go into effect when the parties sign or stamp it.
A sales contract is an agreement between a buyer and seller covering name, quality, quantity, and packing of commodity, shipment, insurance, payment, commodity inspection, force majeure, arbitration, specifying the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer.

卖方草拟提出合同的称为销售合同(Sales Contract),买方草拟出的合同称为购货合同(Purchase contract)。

Mr. Chen: Yes, I think so. It is time to sign a contract, isn’t it?
