EffectsofDifferentFeedingModes onFatteningPerformanceand SlaughterPerformanceandMeatQualityofYoungCashmereGoatsAbstractTheeffectsofdifferentfeedingmodesonfatteningperformanceandslaughter performanceandmeatqualityofyoungcashmeregoatswerediscussedinthisexperiment inordertoprovideascientificbasisforcashmeregoatfatteningproduction.Thispaperincludedthreeparts.Experimentonewasconductedtostudytheeffectsof differentfeedingmodesonfatteningperformanceofyoungcashmeregoats.Thirtyfour months(130±10d)ofweaningfemalelambsandcastratedmalelambs(wether)were respectivelyselectedfromInnerMongoliawhitecashmeregoatbreedingfarm,andwere fedforgrazingsupplementaryfeeding.Thirtyfourmonthsofweaningfemalelambsand castratedmalelambs(wether)similartograzingsupplementaryfeedinggroupinagewere respectively selectedfromtheeliminatedgroup,andwerefedforhousefeeding.Atotalof 120lambsweredividedintofourgroups,eachgroupthirtylambsrespectively.The2×2 factorialarrangementwasused,andthefirstfactorwasfeedingmode(grazing supplementaryfeedingandhousefeeding),thegrazinglambs ofsupplementaryfeedingin accordancewiththeoriginalway,weregrazedinnaturalpastureandweresupplemented withcorn(airdrybasis)300geveryday,andhousefeedinglambsfromeliminatedgroup werefedaccordingtothedesignedtotalmixedration.Thesecondfactorwasgender, includingfemalelambsandcastratedlambs.Thefatteningperiodlastfor3 months, devidedintoearlyfatteningperiod(1-30d),midfatteningperiod(31-60d)andlate fatteningperiod(61-90d).Experimenttwowasconductedtostudytheeffectsofdifferent feedingmodesonnutrientdigestibilityofyoungcashmeregoats.Afterfatteningtestbegan20days，sixlambs wereselectedfromeachgrouprespectivelytoconductdigestiontrial，andendogenoustracermethodwasusedtodeterminenutrientdigestibilityofgross energy(GE),crudeprotein(CP),neutraldetergentfiber(NDF),aciddetergent fiber(ADF),calcium(Ca)andphosphorous (P).Experimentthreewas conductedtostudythe effectsofdifferentfeedingmodesonslaughterperformanceandmeatqualityofcastrated youngcashmeregoats.
