We refer to the trip carried out by our J. Chan to Xiamen dated May 6, 2008 for site visit/ meeting with
Owner’s Project Team. We would issue report as follows (Chinese translation has been provided on main
technical sections to assist Project Team’s understanding on requirement):

A. General 一般
a. This is our first involvement on this project on request of Starwood Regional Office. The project
structure was still under construction stage at time of meeting. The whole development consists of Hotel,
service apartment buildings (managed by others), shopping mall (managed by others), etc.. Target
opening date would be around July 2009 though Owner hoped to open a part by end 2008. As informed
by Owner, the Hotel has 13-storey and 1 Basement level. Building height will be around 45m. Hotel’s
occupancies briefly as follows:
Basement 1- FCC, boiler plant, chiller plant, switchgear room, PABX and computer room, BOH areas,
M/E plant rooms;
Level 1- Main Lobby, Chinese restaurant and kitchen, all day dining;
Level 2- Chinese VIP rooms, Executive Office, Spa;
Level 3- Banquet, meeting rooms;
Level 4 to Level 13- Guest floors.
b. Some fire system drawings were reviewed/ discussed at meeting and discussions were mainly on egress
and general requirements of fire safety systems. It is understood that interior
