摘要阅读作为语言输入的重要渠道，是英语学习者学习语言的重要组成部分。在提倡以学生为中心的课堂教学情况下，教师应该根据学生的个体差异，探索在阅读教学课上有效的教学方式。支架教学模式在英语阅读上的促进作用已毋庸置疑，但是如何根据这个教学方式更有效地提高学生的英语阅读教学就成了教师面临的一项非常紧迫的任务。支架式教学是以建构主义教学理论为基础，源于维果斯基的“最近发展区”.支架阅读教学模式，即把阅读任务分解成搭建支架、进入情境、独立探索、合作学习和效果评价五个部分。各个环节强调师生互动、生生互动、合作学习，培养学生的独立阅读能力，达到提高综合运用英语的能力。本论文研究问题包括：1）支架教学模式是怎样影响学生的阅读的？2）支架式教学影响学生阅读的哪些方面？3）在支架教学模式的五个步骤中，那个步骤更能影响学生的阅读？本文作者以四十三中学初一年级的两个平行班作为研究对象，分别作为实验班和控制班。实验班采用支架阅读教学法教授阅读，控制班采用传统的语法翻译法。研究主要采用前测、后测、问卷及访谈的方式收集实验数据，通过SPSS19.0统计软件进行数据分析，以研究支架教学法如何影响初中英语阅读教学。当然，本课题也存在一定的缺陷和不足，但总体来说，该研究取得了预期的效果，也为今后在英语阅读教学中实施支架教学与研究提出了可行性建议。关键词：支架教学模式,初中英语,阅读教学iAbstractReadingisanimportantpartofEnglishlanguageskills,anditisalwaysregardedasthecrucialsourceoflanguageinput.Inthepromotedstudent-centeredreadingclass,alloftheEnglishteachersshouldfollowthedifferencesamongthestudents,inordertoseekawaytotrainstudents?Englishreadingeffectively.ThereisnodoubtthatscaffoldinginstructioncanpromotetheEnglishreading,however,thespecificeffectsarenotclarified,soitbecomesachallengingtargetwhenteachersarefacedwithhowtomakethecurrentEnglishreadingteachingmoreeffectiveinaccordancewiththisteachingmethod.Scaffoldinginstructionwassupportedbyconstructivism,whichreliedon“theZoneofProximalDevelopment”createdbyVygotsky.IntheEnglishreadingclass,ScaffoldingInstructionincludesfiveprocedures:offeringthescaffold,enteringthesituation,independentexplorations,cooperationstudiesandevaluation.Ineachprocedure,ScaffoldingInstructionemphasizestheinteractionbetweenteacherandstudents,theinteractionbetweenstudents,aimingtodeveloptheabilityofreadingandthinkingindependently,aswellasimprovingtheirintegrativecompetencetouseEnglishinEnglishreadingclass.Therearethreeresearchquestions:1）HowdoestheScaffoldingInstructionaffectthestudents?Englishreading?2）WhichaspectsofEnglishreadingdoestheScaffoldinginstructionimprove?3）WhatproceduresaffecttheEnglishreadingmostlyinfiveproceduresofScaffoldingInstruction?Thesubjectsweretwoparallelclasses?studentsofaGradeOnefromNo.43juniorhighschool,ClassFivewasexperimenta
