课题:Fun Facts 讲课时间: 第一课时 教学目标 1.复习巩固四单元核心语言:He/She works in/at…. 2.通过阅读、学习的过程培养学生的阅读兴趣,提高英语阅读的技能。 3. 通过学习帮助学生了解伦敦著名的博物馆,开阔学生的视野。 教学重点 了解wax的含义,并能简单的对所学博物馆进行介绍 教学难点 能够对所学博物馆进行简单介绍。 教学用具 A computer, some blanks and some cards. 教学程序 师生活动 设计意图 Show the students a short video about how to make a wax figure. Step one: Pre-reading: Free talk: Ask the students: What day is today? Then tell them today is a special day. Because we will make a video about our English learning. Let the students introduce their special part to others like this: Name: Age: Country: Job: Work place: Hobby: 3. Show them some pictures about the museums to practice the word “museum” then tell the students that these museums are very famous. After that tell the students “A museum is a fun place.” 4. Tell the students:”Today we will learn some special museums in London.” Invite the students to visit the museums in London. Ask the students to read the passage in our books and underline the important words. Finish the new words: Puppet, puppet show, queen, wax figure, exactly Step two: While-reading: Read the passage again and then answer the questions: How many museums are there ? What are they? Do you like the toy museum or the wax museum? Read the passage they like best and then fill in the blanks. Name Anna Sonia Work place Things in the museum Reason: To read the whole passage and then order the sentences:: There are all kinds of toys in the toy museum, such as puppets, teddy bears and old dolls. There is also a puppet room in it. The figure of the queen looks exactly like the queen of Britain. A museun is a fun and interesting place. A lot of wax figures of famous people from all over the world are in the wax museum. They look like real people. Step three: Post-reading Read the whole passage and introduce the museum you like best. 2.
