A ABSTRACT II II ABSTRACT Currently, the knowledge of developmental mechanism about the multiple developmental stages of prostate cancer is limited. There were some works studied the multiple stages of prostate cancer at the levels of genes’ expression patterns or biology pathways. However, genes (proteins) function cooperatively in general. We couldn’t completely explain the occurrence and metastasis mechanisms of prostate cancer only in terms of the two facts. Therefore, it’s significant meaningful to study the multiple stages of prostate cancer at the levels of genes cooperation patterns. According to the alterations of co-expression relationships between hub proteins and their interacting partners at two developmental stages, from normal prostate to primary prostate cancer and from primary prostate tumor to metastatic prostate cancer respectively, we found the hub proteins with dynamic changes during the occurrence and development of prostate cancer. And we explored the biology relationships between the hub proteins with dynamic changes during the two developmental stages and studied the variations of differential co-expression patterns between these hub proteins and their interacting partners at the two developmental stages of prostate cancer. This could suggest hints for exploring the occurrence and metastasis mechanisms of prostate cancer. Based on three datasets of expression profiles for normal, primary and metastasis prostate cancer samples, 1578 and 2347 dynamic hub proteins were detected at the two developmental stages of prostate cancer respectively. We found that averagely more than 95% of the dynamic hub proteins changed at one of the two developmental stages shared significantly more neighbors with at least one of the dynamic hub proteins changed at the other developmental stage.
