Effectofinsulin-likegrowthfactorbindingprotein-3ongrowthanddevelopmentinchildrenwithcongenitalhypothyroidismAbstractObjectiveThecongenitalhypothyroidism(CH)isoneofPediatricEndocrinologydisease,andthyroidhormonereplacementtherapyisnowthebestchoiceforthechildren.Theneuropsychologicaldevelopmentsofthesomechildacceptedearlydiagnosisandtreatmentwerevariedindifferentdegreesuchasperception,motion,mind,learning,memory,speechandsoon.Insulin-likegrowthfactorbindingprotein-3(IGFBP-3)wasakindofactive-polypeptidewithlotsofphysiologicalfunctions.IGFBP-3playsanimportantroleingrowthanddevelopment,andhastheeffectonthefunctionandgrowthofthyroidgland.TheeffectofIGFBP-3levelsinthechildrenwithCHonthephysicalgrowthandintelligencedevelopmentwasexaminedinourdatainordertoprovideanewwayfortheintegratedtreatmentandtoimprovethegrowthanddevelopmentofthechildren.MethodsGrouping:①thecasegroupwasthe42childrenwithCHdiagnosedbythenewborndiseasesscreeningcentral.②thenormalgroupwas41healthychildren,with1：1matchingthecasegroupastheageandsex.Thechoosecriteria：Allchildrenhavenoprematureinfant,asphyxia,hypoxicencephalopathy，functionlesionofliverandkidney,functionlesionofheart,butthethyroidhormoneslevelshadtobeinnormalatthepresenttime.Theinformconsents:thebookofinformconsentswaswrittenbytheparentsinourdata.Thecontentinquisition:Thechildren’sparentswereinvestigatedwiththeself-designedquestionnaireincludedgeneralsituation,growthanddevelopmentofthechildren,andsoon.Thedeterminationindex:theheightandweightofallchildrenweremeasuredandtheirlevelsofgrowthanddevelopmentwereevaluated.Theintelligencedevelopmentlevelswasdeterminedin2～yearschildrenwithCDCCandin3～7yearschildrenwithC-WYCSI,respectively.ThecontentofIGFBP-3invenousbloodwastestedwithimmunoradiometricassay(IRMA).Thedataanalysis:OurdatawerestatisticallyanalyzedwiththeStatisticalPackageforSocialSciences(SPSS16.0).ResultsGeneralstatus:Intheage,livingenvironment,modeoflabor,infantfeedingwayinthefirstthreemonths,earlyeducationtherewerenosignificantdifferencebetwe
