中部地区城市化与经济增长的计量分析 　　摘 要:运用协整分析、误差修正模型、脉冲响应函数、方差分解等现代计量方法对中部地区1978―2007年城市化与经济增长的相互关系和作用机制进行分析,结果表明:中部地区城市化与经济增长之间存在着长期均衡关系,且两者的长期均衡关系对短期波动存在着较强的制约作用;脉冲响应函数和方差分解均显示无论是城市化水平,还是经济增长水平均受自身波动的影响较大,两者之间的相互促进机制尚未形成。应理顺经济增长和城市化进程之间的关系,使两者之间形成相互促进、共同发展的格局。 　　关键词:中部地区;城市化;经济增长;均衡关系 　　中图分类号:F291.1;F127文献标志码:A文章编号:1008-6439(2009)06-0053-06 　　 　　Quantitative Analysis between Urbanization??and Economic Growth of Middle Area 　　CHEN Bing-xin??1, LI Yan-jun??2 　　(1, Zhengzhou Office, National Audit Office of The Peoples Republic of China,Henan Zhengzhou 450002, China;?? 　　2, School of Economics and Management, China University of Geosciences, Hubei Wuhan 430074, China)?? 　　Abstract: Cointegration, Error Correction Model, Impulse Response Functions, Variance Decomposition and other modern measurement methods are used to analyze the relationship and the mechanism between urbanization and economic growth of middle area during 1978-2007. The results demonstrate that long-run equilibrium relationship exists between urbanization and economic growth of the middle area, and that the long-run equilibrium relationship has strong constraints to short-term fluctuations; that Impulse Response Functions and Variance Decomposition have demonstrated that both the level of urbanization and the level of economic growth are subject to their own fluctuations and that the mechanism of mutual promotion has not been formed. Based on the above analysis, the relationship between economic growth and urbanization process should be rationalized for forming mechanism of mutual promotion and development.?? 　　Keywords: middle area; urbanization; economic growth; equilibrium relationship ?? 　　 　　引 言 　　 　　城市化是由传统的农业社会向现代城市社会发展的自然历史过程,在一个国家和地区的经济增长过程中,城市化和经济增长往往是相伴相随的。国外大量理论和实证研究表明城市化水平和经济增长之间呈现出显著的正相关关系,经济发展程度越高,城市化水平也越高。[1]国内对城市化和经济增长关系的研究始于20世纪80年代,早期研究主要是利用国际比较数据来验证城市化与经济增长之间的关系。周一星(1982)以1977年世界157个国家和地区的资料进行统计分析,发现城市化与经济增长之间是一种十分明显的对数曲线关系。[2]许学强(1988)根据美国人口普查局公布的1981年151个国家的资料,利用散点图选配对数曲线,得到城市化水
