Ti35Nb泡沫合金的疲劳性能及表面处理对其影响-材料物理与化学专业论文

II II Abstract Titanium and it’s alloys are widely used as implant materials because of their excellent mechanical properties, low density, biocompatibility and high corrosion resistance. However, their high Young’s modulus may cause the implants loosening when they are used as implanting materials, because the stiff implants shields the stress from the surrounding bones, leading to bone resorption. One way to solve this problem is to induce pores to the alloy to make porous alloys. In this thesis, porous Ti35Nb alloys with different porosities were successfully fabricated by using powder metallurgy method with NH3HCO3 as space holding particles. The microstructure and pore morphology of the porous alloy were characterized and its mechanical properties under monotonic and cyclic loading were investigated. More over, the bioactivity treatment was carried out on the surface of the porous alloy, and the degradation of the mechanical properties of the porous alloy caused by the surface modification was evaluated. It was found that the porous alloys prepared by this method exhibited the homogenous pore distribution with the average pore size of 252μm and the microstructure of the foams mainly consisted of β phase. The feature of the pore structure is very similar to nature bones. The strength of the porous alloys is strongly dependent on the porosity. With the increase of the porosity, the strength decrease significantly. The plateau stresses of the porous alloys with the porosities of 52% , 61% and 66% are 131.67MPa、60.83MPa and 56MPa respectively. The fatigue strength of the porous alloy with the porosity of 66% was 15.1MPa at 107 cycles under compression-compression cyclic loading. The fractographic analysis of the foams revealed that cracks nucleated at the micro-pores or/ and the joints of the struts, and grew by a fatigue mechanism, resulting in the acceleration of the fatigue damage of the porous alloy. By standard alkali treatment, and then soaking the alloys in
