哈尔滨工业大学工学硕士学位论文 哈尔滨工业大学工学硕士学位论文 I I Abstract For its advantages of portability, mini bulk, low power, non-radiation danger, flat display and steady image, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) has been more and more widely used in the field of image display, which certainly will induce extensive research and development of LCD driver controller. Through the research of TFT-LCD display and driver theory, the paper gives a driver program for a controller IC, and the design of gamma correction circuit, to display the image information more perfect. This article research content mainly includes following several aspects: From the TFT-LCD production lines distribution on the world，to the stage of China TFT-LCD industry development, The article analysis of the TFT-LCD production development and the progress of TFT-LCD display technology in such aspects as resolution, contrast, improvement of display speed, afterimage elimination, visual angle and aperture opening ratio at home and abroad. Analysis of display principle of the LCD and TFT-LCD driver principle and the driven approachs such as field inversion, line inversion, cloumn and dot inversion. Through to the research of a controller IC and the functions and realizations of its models such as MPU digital interface and controller model, OSC circuit model, gamma correction model, GRAM(display buffer) model, Gate driver model and Source driver model, gives a design of driver program for a controller IC. In adjusts the basic principle and in the theoretical analysis foundation to the gamma, has produced one kind of design of gamma correction circuit. This article designs the driver has the certain versatility, produces the gamma correction circuit design has thebetter theory value and the actual value.
