摘要 摘 要 摘要 摘 要 5 5 6 6 Title：Shanxi Daily drama research (1979-1999) Major：Drama and traditional opera Name： Deng yiting Signature： Supervisor： Wang fucai Signature： Abstract Since November 28, 1978, the day in which Communist Party of China held the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee and issued the Opening Door policy, keeping innovative and realistic has become a strong trend of thought, greatly affecting politics, economics, thought, culture, as well as Chinese opera. Shanxi province has been long reputed as “the cradle of Chinese opera”, since opera in Shanxi has long history, various categories and rich heritages. Provincial party newspaper Shanxi Daily, as the most important newspaper in Shanxi province, publishes abundant reports about Shanxi local opera. From 1979 to 1990, twenty years after reforming and opening, Chinese opera in Shanxi province was also impacted by social changes, and then new improvement and problems followed. Based on the data collected from Shanxi Daily, this paper attempts to present the creation, reformation and performance of Shanxi local opera in that time from several different perspectives. This paper firstly analyzes data on different categories of opera, which were collected from Shanxi Daily. According to the reports about the most important four Shanxi opera categories, also called the Biggest Four Bang Zi, and other local opera categories, from 1979 to 1999 Shanxi Daily introduced various types of opera and tried to call for attention and protection for local opera. From the collected and classified data about opera actors, including biographies, news reports, reviews, performance information and reminiscences, the paper interprets daily life, training, performance and style of opera actors at that time. As Letters from Readers palys an important role in opera data from Shanxi Daily, this part would be analyzed in an independent chapter. Letters from readers could be roughly divided into two parts
