万方数据 万方数据 Abstract Abstract This report is a summary of the whole translation process about Intercultural negotiation. Intercultural Negotiation describes a case of intercultural business negotiation between China and Canada in detail, analyzes the reasons about the failure of Canada from four aspects, introduces the differences between Chinese and Canadian culture and discusses the factors in negotiation, including expectations for outcomes, team members: makeup and motivation, and physical factors. This translation report includes the description about the translation, translation process, case analysis and conclusion. It begins with the task description that the author briefly introduces the material source, the book and its writer; Then it moves to the translation process that includes the preparation before translation, revision of the draft and perfection and finalization of the translation; The case analysis is the key part and the author has the detailed analysis from vocabulary, syntax and discourse aspects and presents about translation skills; What’s more, the author summarizes the translation form conclusion, qualifications about translator and suggestions. This translation as an important part in author’s translation study period, it not only has improved the author’s translation ability but also enriched translation skills.
