After entering old age, the body organs of various systems degenerative changes, sport function apparently recession, the walking rock instability, seriously leading to fall. Fall is a big threat to the elderly health and daily living, sometimes make the elderly disabled, disability and death, bring about a great burden for the family and society. So we should pay sufficient attention to this social problem. Bone of elderly people contents a high proportion of inorganic substance, so it is very fragile and high risk of fractures caused by falls, So the elderly should pay special attention to their balance. It is an important measure to choosing the right sport to improve the elderly of balance to prevention of falls in older people and improve the quality of the elderly life. This article selects the elderly from Liaocheng district who participates in Ballroom dancing, Tai chi, Croquet regularly as the object of study. Each fitness projects contains 30 elderly people (male and female half and half). Selecting other 30 elderly people (male and female half and half)who walking or playing cards on the park as the control。Basic conditions of subjects in each group are no significant difference, no disease which has effect on body balance capacity, physical health, and voluntary participation of balance capacity tests.
