In 2005, the nationwide entered the implementation stage of compulsory education. Compulsory Education Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard (2011 edition) started execution in the fall of 2012. The new Sports and Health Curriculum Standard since the implementation, caused the Sports circle experts, scholars widespread attention, and around a series of activities of the basic education reform is carried out like a raging fire. Therefore, research the implementation of the status quo of Chongqing city Shapingba District Primary School PE curriculum standard and improvement strategies. Not only for the Chongqing city shapingba district for sports teaching workers to provide practical guidance, to provide decision has basis for the school sported teaching reform. But also to promoting the development of primary school physical education teaching work also has a very important significance. The research methods used in this paper are documentation method, questionnaire method, interview method, mathematical statistics method, scientific and systematic analysis the “sports and healthy curriculum standard”, after it implementation in the Chongqing city Shapingba District with the Status quo. The investigation objects are 10 key primary school and 10 ordinary primary school, 80 teachers, 400 primary school students.
