We made a logistic regression analysis to the main factors associate with the curative effect, found that the age and the sex OR value respectively is 0.351 and 0.734, all is lower than 1.And the course of disease OR value is 1.466 and is higher than 1. According to that,we thought age and sex were not relative factors affecting curative effect in treating chronic pharyngitis. In contrast, the course of disease was the relative factor. Conclusion: This search displays it is a better curative effect to making use of the traditional Chinese medicine compound of Liyan Decoction curing chronic pharyngitis with the pattern of yin deficiency and blood stasis. It can better control symptoms and signs. It is worth to promote and further clinical research and development.
