The main works include: (l)By the study on altematíve allocation location method for substation locating and sizing，its shown that the m0gel and algorithm of this method is under the assumption condition that the load value difference of the whole load point would not be great or there would bring greater e:町O卫 Howev町，姐也e real projects，load distribution forecasting result is often failed to meet this condition. Especially on 由e ∞ndition of cuπent society and economic development，the cities are developing rapidly and various loads 缸e expanding sharply which lead 阳也e more and more greater difference between a single-point load value and region load value ωthat the locating result is not 由e optimal and there even appear that two substations are too close or ov町lapped. Whereas this issue，this p叩er proposed an improved model and method for substation locating and sizing in view of great sing1e嗣point load value. By means ofgωgraphic information of this load region，也is method would take 也.e great load point load decomposing before substation locating to meet the assumption conditions requirement of existing locating model methods and then be combined with altemative allocation location methodωwork out the optimal solution.
