In recent years, with the whole society attaching great importance to kindergarten teachers, the professional quality training for pre-kindergarten teachers needs to be carried out across the board, among which the training of teaching skills for pre-school majors is difficult but essential. It must be gradually developed in the course of specific educational practices on top of the theory learned in universities. We must strengthen the teaching practice, making pre-school majors experience, comprehend and operate in the real context of early childhood education to combine theory and practice. Through the reform of practical courses, we expect to improve the quality of pre-school majors and enhance their job adaptability with reforming education internship as the focused content. However, how is the educational practice of preschool education majors in Chinese Universities? And what problems have arisen? What about the educational internship in foreign Universities? How can we tap the resources to play the role of education internship? Answers to all these questions requires our systematic thinking and rational understanding.
This paper consists of four parts: It first analyses the significance of educational internship of the Preschool Education majors in Universities, and also launches an in-depth analysis on the philosophical basis and psychological support for effectively implementing the educational practice. Based on the investigation of the goals, content, implementation and evaluation of pre-school education internship in domestic universities, this paper points out the main problems and their causes. Different countries at different stages of the development of education will encounter different problems, but because of the commonality of education, these problems have the same characteristics.
