Structure of the piston to temperature field and heat on the piston shall have a direct influence on the stress distribution, therefore,it is necessary to predict and evaluate the structure features and performance characteristics of piston. The key moving parts and diesel engine piston,continuously alternating load it can bear high temperature under high pressure, which is known as the heart of the diesel engine, especially its application in tanks, ships and military vehicles and ships, on the performance of diesel engine piston particularly high requirements, it has become an important highlight problems to restrict the development of diesel engine. This topic is mainly a variety of design for a diesel engine piston top structure,using finite element method, to simulate temperature and pressure piston combustion chamber, and then taking these as a condition of loading to the piston, and the temperature field, thermal structure coupling and fatigue life of piston is analyzed, to determine the piston thermal stress and deformation of large area and the most dangerous position, in contrast to these results, which reached a design structure is optimal, is of great significance to improve the properties of piston.
