STUDY OF OPTIMAZATION OF BUS NETWORK IN CITY ABSTRACT The great development of the automotive industry has caused complications to the citys traffic and environment in various aspects: the blocking the road, air pollution, parking problems. These issues become major problems in urban development. Now in the situations of the limited land resources and urban land shortage, the public transport compared to the other modes of transportation has unparalleled advantages. Developing public transport, planning and arranging the reasonable public transportation network, improving bus service quality and enhancing the attraction of urban residents to public transport are not only meet the requirements of the traffic travel, but also the fundamental requirement to build a sustainable development of transport system. They are of great importance to solve the primary problem of traffic congestion. This article discussed the models of public transportation network optimization systematically, analyzed the current problems of urban public transportation, surveyed the public transportation needs of the residents, and combined with the influencing factors of public transportation optimization. A public transportation network optimization model is established for improving passenger service quality and economic efficiency of enterprises under reasonable optimization and constraints.
