华 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract The propulsion shafting, including the transmission shafts and other accessories from output end of engine to propeller, is an important part of the power system. The function of propulsion shafting is mainly as follows: transfer the power generated by main engine to drive the propeller, and in return transfer the thrust of propeller to promote the ship. Its obviously that the shafting is suffering from complicated and variable multi-loads in the working process of main engine. The shafting vibration has a great effect on ship navigation performance for it can directly influence loads of bearings in the shaft system. This paper is mainly researching ship propulsion shafting. On the basis of consulting relevant data at home and abroad, a brief summary about principles and calculation methods of whirling and longitudinal vibration is given, and models of the shaft system are studied. The main works include: First, given the need of whirling research, the purpose, research and calculation methods of the rotor dynamics theory are presented. Then the whirling vibration causes, hazards, vibration influence factors and calculation model are also introduced. Next, several common calculation methods are discussed. Using software ANSYS11.0, combined with rotor dynamics theory; one propulsion shafting of a certain propeller quality eccentricity is calculated. Then, causes and hazards of longitudinal vibration, vibration influence factors, calculation model and calculation methods are analyzed. Based on these, the low-frequency longitudinal dynamic response of the propeller shafting system is characterized using the transmission matrix approach. The influence of the damp, mass, and number of the resonance changer on force transmission ratio of longitudinal vibration of ship shafting system is researched with the help of MATLAB.
