安徽财经大学硕士学位论文 ON MORAL EDUCATION INFILTRATION IN HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH INSTRUCATION ABSTRACT Since the launch of new high school English curriculum standards, the three aspects of course objectives to a certain extent promotes the implementation of moral education in English class. Actually, most teachers lack understanding of moral education in English class and the practice is not ideal, so it is an important task in English education to go back to the essence of English teaching, improve its cultivation function and reform class teaching model. This thesis firstly discusses the concepts of “moral education”, “moral education penetration” and “subject moral education penetration” as well as the state quo of research and theories at home and abroad to find out the problems in today’s high school English teaching and thus point out their causes and stress the significance of moral education penetration in high school English teaching. Then the author describes five principles of moral education penetration in high school English teaching, i.e., overall effectiveness, flexible development, main body participation, permanent persistence and emotional motivation to further explore specific moral education content in today’s high school English materials. In the end, combined with practice experience, author presents specific strategies of moral education penetration in high school English teaching and generalizes the significance of it from three teaching models of listening and speaking, reading and writing. The thesis shows that it is necessary and feasible to carry out moral education penetration and promote students’ metal heath in teaching them English knowledge and skills.
