万方数据 万方数据 Abstract With the rapid development of the economic construction and the gradually intensification of human being’s engineering activities, the geological disasters present an aggravating tendency. The geological disaster prevention researches become very urgent and necessary. Kongtong Region, Pingliang, Gansu province is located in the transitional zone of Longdong loess plateau and LiuPan Mountain. Geomorphic type is given priority to denudation erosion of the loess hills and erosion structures. The special geological environment conditions for the landslide, collapse, debris flow and other geological disasters happening provide favorable conditions. In this paper, through the investigation, analysis and research of geological disasters in Kongtong Region, the main achievements are as follows: Quantitative reveal the characteristics of the geological disasters in the Kongtong Region, Pingliang. There are five kinds of geological disasters in the Kongtong Region such as landslides, unstable slope, debris flow, ground fissures and collapse. Through the research, the geological disasters in Kongtong Region has universality and unhomogeneity, clusters, sudden, periodic, and has obvious time and space distribution rules. Adopting the harassing coefficient method to generate the initial geological hazards susceptibility zoning, and using the spatial analysis function of geographic information system software ARCGIS and MAPGIS6.7 map out the geological hazards susceptible partition. The study found that the main slope types of the landslide are ladder type and linear types, and the collapse is given priority to with straight slope type. The landslide occurs mainly at the gradient of slope between 25° to 40°, and the slope height between 100m to 150m. The collapse occurs mainly at the gradient of slope greater than 70°, and less than 60m on steep slopes or cliff.
