基于 QT 和 GSM 的嵌入式智能家居系统 河北工业大学硕士学位论文  PAGE 4  PAGE 3 The Embedded Smart Home System based on QT and GSM Abstract With the continuous development of China’s national economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, home intelligence is gradually improved, thereby facilitating the rapid development of smart home. The smart home system is an open and humane integrated home system by using a number of high-tech. It uses computer technology, network communication technology, and integrated wiring technology, unified management of the various subsystems in the home, to make people’s living more comfortable and safe. Wireless data transmission has been widely used in the smart home control system and user client communication for its flexible features. With the increasing of GSM network coverage, the signal quality is getting better, with more busniness servies opening up for people, and the costs of service are easily accepted by users. So this technology is applied to the smart home system, it allows users to use mobile phones to complete the monitoring and controlling, and the system application is flexible, with significantly reduce costs. It is practical to combine this technology with the smart home system. In the network organization of sensors and actuators of smart home, traditional wired connection is cumbersome. Therefore the wireless technology is needed to make the installation user-friendly. Wifi, Bluetooth and ZigBee are mainly used in the wireless networking. And the ZigBee is quickly widely used for its network flexibility, low power consumption and long distance transmission. This paper elaborates the basic principles involved in the smart home system based on QT and GSM. In this design, a Samsung S3C2440 micro-processor is used as the central controller, with a TC35i GSM module to send and receive the short messages.
