In a traditional sense teaching wit is regarded as a technical trifling skill , so teachers ’intelligence and passion is seriously restricted and educational function can ’t be performed well either . The reform of the fundamental educational curriculum will provide a variety of ways and situations to the choice and invention of teachers ’teaching wit , giving variety to the education value and the representation form of teaching wit . It also puts forward higher and newer requirements and expectations to teachers.
