AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract Energy crisis and Environmental pollution are the two major challenges faced by automobile industry in the 2 1 3‘Century．Effectively combining the advantages of traditional internal．combustion vehicle and electric vehicle，Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV)has become all important developing direction of energy·savingclean vehicles in recent years．Based on the background of the research project of energy．savingclean vehicle used by the Badminton Gymnasium in Beijing University of Technology,SHEV control strategies and its application techniques are studied in this thesis．There are four parts aS follows： Firstly,SHEV hybridization is studied．The fuel consumption per 1 00·kilometer, dynamic performance，battery pack working efficiency and driving performance of an SHEV are simulated and analyzed under different hybridizations．Three hybridization intervals are divided for the vehicle：low hybridization interval in which the comprehensive performances is worst，medium hybridization interval with beaer comprehensive performances and design flexibility,high hybridization interval in which the vehicle may easily become charge·depletion．Commonly SHEV is designed in the medium／high hybridizations intervals(greater than 0．5)to get good comprehensive performances。BaSed on the analysis results，two major vehicle types studied in the following thesis are determined：hi曲hybridization and charge—depletion vehicle type which is called the Auxiliary Hybrid Electric Vehicle (AHEV)and medium／high hybridization and charge-sustaining vehicle type which is called the Series Hybrid Electric Vehicle(SHEV)。 Secondly,several important techniques for the auxiliary hybrid electric vehicle (type．II vehicle of Beijing University of Technology,BJUT-AHEV)are studied， including：(1)Main component parameters are matched for the drive system of the vehicle and power parameters of the driving motor,battery pack and engine／generator set are determined．(2)BaSed on the analysis of
