T: Today I go to school by bike/motorbike. Usually I go to school by bike/motorbike. What about you? Do you go by bike? Or by bus? Do you go on foot? Or by car?   (2) Lead-in. T: There are many ways to go somewhere. Look at these pictures. Do you know what they are?   Look at the picture of Let’s start and ask and answer.   Step2: Preview   (1) Preview the frequency Adverbs: always, usually, often, sometime, never. With reference to the Unit One Book Six.   (2) Let’s chant. Listen-imitate-chant.   Step3: Presentation   Let’s learn   (1) Show a toy bike and say: How do I go to school? I go to school by bike. Write the phrase: by bike on the board. Ask some of the SS: What about you? How do you go to school? Write the Sentences on the board: How do you go to school? I go to school by bike.   (2) Look at the cards and make phrases: by plane, by ship, on foot, by bike, by bus, by train, by subway. Then make sentences: I go to …   (3) Play a fast reaction game. T: by bike. S: I go to school by bike.   (4) Listen to the tape and repeat.   (5) Read and spell the words.   Let’s play   Connect the transportation with the places.
