AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract Ill the theoretical research,the article analyses the essence and structure of the cognitive narrowing of the undergraduates being in love based 011 the existing academic achievements,and considers it as a cognitive phenomenon that the undergraduates being in love focus their attention on love but neglect their learning and relationships.The cognitive narrowing of the undergraduates being in love contains two dimensions: learning narrowing and interpersonal narrowing. In the first part of the empirical research,we adopt the self-made questionnaire about the cognitive narrowing of the undergraduates being in love for investigation.46 1 undergraduates file surveyed.The results show that the participates’average scores on each dimension and the whole questionnaire are between”not too agreeable¨and”general agreeable¨,this me黜Is they dont think love has much effect on learning and relationships, and the level of their cognitive narrowing is not serious. In the second part of the empirical research,we llse Stroop task paradigm to further prove the existence of cognitive narrowing of the undergraduates being in love.The results show that the experimental group has attentional bias 011 the words about love,and the control group has attentional bias on words about love and learning.弋tVhile for the words about interpersonal relation,they dont exist attemional bias.This means students being in love pay their attention On love and dont concerll the things about learning and interpersonal relation.For the students who had never been in love,they care about love as well as learning,but they do玳concern the interpersonal relation. In a word,the cognitive narrowing of undergraduates being in love iS existed。Its just that the level of their cognitive n舯owing is not serious.
