华中科技大学硕士学位论文摘要 华中科技大学硕士学位论文 摘要 ／’ ／数字流域所处理的数据大部分是空间数据，包括图形数据、影像数据、DEM(数 字高程模型)数据等。传统地理信息系统软件一般将属性数据存储在数据库中，而将 空间数据库存放在义件系统中，或用内嵌空问数据厍来管理空阃数始。然而内嵌数钳 库缺乏商业数据库所拥有的开放性、一致性、安全性和标准化等一系列重要特性，不 适合管理海量、网络级的GIS信息系统。在数字流域T程的建设中，如何将GIS空间 1 数据与属性数据统一存储于关系型数据库中，是目前需要重点解决的研究课题。／，锣 为解决流域空问数据与属性数据一体化存储与管理的问题，一种有效的方法是建 立各种数据源的开放式数据库互连(ODBC)协议，及各自的驱动接口，有关GIS的 应用程序通过统一的空间数据ODBC驱动接口管理器操作各类数据源。本课题的目的 就是建立基于ODBC的开放式数据访问模型，在现有的关系型数据库管理系统 (RDBMs)的基础上进行空间扩展，将空间数据和非空间数据集成在RDBMS中。 本文探讨了空间数据库的理论与技术以及当前的研究状况：深入分析和比较了 GIS空间数据管理的几种模式；研究了OIS空间数据的存储与查询技术；最后针对微 软SQL Server数据库平台，提出了一种将空帕_|数据存入关系型数据库的数据模型，进 而根据此模型，开发了一个简易的GIS空间数据引擎。该引擎基于ODBC，实现了数 字流域的GIS空间数据在关系型数据库SQL Server中的存储、查询与管理。 关键词：GIS，数字流域，空问数据库，ODBC，空间数据库引擎．数据模型 华中科技大学硕士学位论文Abstract 华中科技大学硕士学位论文 Abstract The data that digital valley deals with are mostly spatial data，including graphical data， image data,and DEM(Digital Elevation Model)data，etc．Commonly,traditional GIS software stores attribute data into databases，while pm spatial data imo file systems，or embedded spmial databases．However，file systems and embedded databases lack of relational database’S openness，consistency，security and standardization．They cannot manage huge volume and network-oriented GIS information systems．In the construction of digital valley,the storage of GIS spatial data in RDBMS is an important issue should be solved． In order to solve the problem of the integrated storage and management of valley spatial data and attribute data,one effective method is to establish Open Database Connectivity(ODBC)protocol of diversified data soBrces and their drive interfaces．The application programs of GIS operate diversified data sources by the united spatial database driver interface manager．The aim of the thesis is to establish an open data access model based on ODBC，extend the Relational Database Management System(RDBMS)，and integrate the spatial data and non-spatial data into RDBMS． This thesis introduced the theory and technology of spatial database and current research，analyz
