中國後改革期的教育回報率之動態變化

摘 要
本文審查一九八八至一九九二年間中國教育回報率的趨勢 。根據五年
的橫截面數據分析,教育回報率的每年遞增率相對於其他發展中或發達國
家為低,但回報率仍然隨時間而增長。按不同的教育程度而言,教育程度
越高,其回報率亦相對高。按地域的劃分,運算的回報率與地域在發展的
趨勢和革改的步伐上的差距相符合,職業教育的回報率亦比文化教育的回
報率為高。

Abstract
The paper examines the trend in the rate of return to education in China for the period
1988- 1992. Based on cross-sectional data of five years, it is found that the rate of return to an
additional year of schooling is low compared to those found in o ther developing and developed
countries, although an increasing trend in the returns is observed. For the rate of return by
educational level, higher returns is associated with higher level of education over the years.
The estimation results of the rate of return to education by region are in line with the
differences in the pace of economic reforms and the stage of development across regions.
Region of more advanced development and keen economic reforms is associated with a higher
rate of return to education. The reward to general education is relatively greater for more
developed region while vocational education is more valuable in less developed region.
