摘 要 ABSTRACT With economic globalization and Chinas educational rapid development, the transformation of government functions education administration, and the improvement of administration efficiency have become an important one about reform of the administrative system. All along, the administration of education in Chinas is a highly centralized administration, and the government has always kept increasing the force of action. the education department is a person who set up or organize in the only educational institutions, and also are the only supervisors and managers for education. Education administration exists of some fuzzy functions in some extent. From a planned economy turn to a market economy, China is beginning to attach importance to change the direct administration to the macro-management means of the law, planning, counseling, supervision and evaluation, but the government functions have not been fundamentally changed. Therefore, the education administration department must consider its own position, duties and how to do their job problems. Changes in education administration functions are a priority.
