V V Abstact Ching-Yi Girls’ High School in Kaifeng started her historical process in the wake of the arrival of Catholic. This paper studies Ching-Yi Girls’ High School and explores the impact Ching-Yi Girls’ High School made on the modern community of Kaifeng. The paper consists of five parts: Part I: the background of Ching-Yi Girls’ High School. In the efforts of Tacconi and Gratia, Catholic was taken to Kaifeng and started to begin the mission of publicity and education. Part II: the brief history of Ching-Yi Girls’ High School. From the emergence of Ching-Yi Girls’ High School in 1932 to the expropriation and transformation by governments in 1951， Ching-Yi Girls’ High School underwent the process of start-up development、 instability fighting、recovery transformation. Part III: the teaching and learning activities in Ching-Yi Girls’ High School. This part explores the distinctive curricula and teaching activities in Ching-Yi Girls’ High School and analyzes the characteristics. Part IV: the management in Ching-Yi Girls’ High School. This part explores the administration and ecnomic in Ching-Yi Girls’ High School and analyzes the characteristics. Part V: conclusion. Ching-Yi Girls’ High School made positive contributions in providing girl’s elite education opportunities and promoting cultural exchanges between the East and the West.
