教学目标:
1.能感知A部分的核心句型,并能在语境中理解Good luck的含义。
2.能在图片和教师帮助下理解对话大意。
3.能用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话,并能分角色朗读。
4.能在情景中运用句型When is April Fool’s Day? It’s on April 1st. And Easter? It’s on April 5th this year.询问回答节日的日期。
5.能听、说、读first, second, third, fourth and fifth。
教具准备:课件、单词卡
教学步骤:
(一)热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1.Enjoy a song: When is your birthday?
(巩固Unit3有关月份的单词。)
2.Ask: When is Easter? 学生可以用Unit3的知识进行回答:It’s in April.
(复习in+月份,为下面学习“on+具体日期”作对比。)
(二)呈现新课(Presentation)
1.Let’s try:
出示Let’s try板块的图片,提问:Where is Zhang Peng? Is he in the classroom? 学生回答No,heisn’t. He’s on the playground.教师说:Yes. Mr Jones is talking to him. Which month are they talking about? Listen and tick, please.学生听录音两遍,找答案。
2.出示文本内容,理解Good luck。
Zhang Peng and Mr Jones are talking about the sports meet. It’s on April 4th. Mr Jones says: Good luck.
When you have a singing contest or a Chinese test, people can say “Good luck” to you.
(帮助学生理解Good luck.)
3.Let’s guess,学习April Fool’s Day, special day:
There is a special day in April. You can joke(开玩笑) on other people.
学生回答“复活节”。学习April Fool’s Day,
同桌问答:When is April Fool’s Day?It’s on April 1st.
师:April Fool’s Day is a special day in April.Special means “特殊的”。
4.学习Let’s talk:
师:There are two special days in April. What are they?观看视频两遍,回答What are the special days in April? When is April Fool’s Day? 再次观看视频一遍,回答:When is Easter?
Note: in+月份;on+具体日期
5.Read after the tape twice and role playing.
