As an academical topic, however, electronic games has not been receiving the attention of domestic scholars. This paper starts from the media commentary and academic point of view，then puts forward three points on the value of the game:Media commentary is mostly based on game theory, while academical research involves in both game theory and narrative theory;Media review makes sense the short-tern communication effect, while academical research emphasizes the theoretical context and the long-term effects on development of electronic games;Media commentary lacks dialectical thinking about technology, while academical research pays attention to the influence of technology and social factors on electronic game. Keyword： Arena of Valor; electronic game; narrative; technology; society; Received： 2017-09-20 电子游戏作为近些年来文化研究的重要领域，思考已经很深入，然而，在媒体 的报道和评论中却仍停留在浅显的层而。以媒介评论和学术观点为切入点，研宂 电子游戏的价值评判问题具有重要的现实意义。 一、有关电子游戏价值评判的文献述论 传统的对电子游戏所做出的最初学术性研宄经常遭到曲解，在各种研宄兴起的 基础上，游戏学者们不再容忍这样的观点:游戏是对孩子们“埋下魔鬼种子”的 电子海洛因。取而代之的是，对于游戏的研宄涵盖了由文化学家、社会学家、心 理学家、人类学家、文化研究学者和媒介传播学家们所急速开辟的文化史和游戏 网络研究。从“游戏”作为一种具冇文化功能的重要文化形式，到电子游戏的发 源和发展，从赫伊津哈(Johan Huizinga)到叙事学派(Narratology)与游戏 学派(Ludology)之争，学者把“游戏”置于一个至上视角，从游戏观察的角 度思考人类的文化行为。“游戏” (play)是赫伊津哈阐发历史理论的一个概念, 也是他的文化史观的思想核心。继把人类称之为“理性者”(Ho
