The city commercial bank competitiveness, profitability is a decisive factor, is the city commercial banks to expand the capital, attract customers an important condition. Bank stronger profitability, risk capability is stronger, the customer is more attractive. Therefore in the finance industry comprehensive opening today, the city commercial bank profitability comparison research has the very strong practical significance. This paper discusses the city commercial bank profitability. In the selection of our country °s listed three, namely, the Bank of Beijing, Bank of Nanjing, Bank of Ningbo, to the study of Chinas city commercial bank profitability and the basic present situation, the three city commercial banks were compared, using Dupont analysis method, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the three city bank. Then individually for the Bank of Ningbo, from the Ningbo banks business structure, cost control and emerging business development and other aspects of the proposal, in order to make appropriate decisions about future development.
