The technology advancement and the demand diversification cause the product lifecycle unceasingly to reduce, the enterprise faces pressure that it reduce the date of delivery and improves product quality, All these need to quickly response for unceasingly changes market, rapidly satisfy the customer demand, customization the individuality product to seize the market to win the competition, The enterprises competition display the different way in the different time, The competition core by Cost, Quality, Flexibility, Service and soon transforms the time competition now. According to “High-mixed, Low-valued” manufacturing enterprises characteristic and the actual situation of AFG Company, This paper analyses material’s purchasing lead time and safety stock. By aiming at the problems of ageing phenomenon in its business process, the low level of information management and the lack in coordinate mechanism of the lead time between upstream and downstream industry, the author has put forward the corresponding solution from the point of views of Supply Chain Management and Business Process Reengineering. In the method of study the strategy of coordinating the upstream and downstream, the author has advanced the thinking of controlling the purchase Lead time initiatively and combinative purchase with adjacent large-size companies in AFG company practical application, new ABC method to setup the safety stock and SAP system enhancement.
