Abstract In the investigation stage, the investigation organ has duty to inform the suspects something about their rights, obligations and some information which is related to their cases. The suspects in our country are general lack of knowledge of the law. If the investigation organ do not fulfill this obligation ,the suspects may be don’t know their rights and obligations in the process of investigation, and if their legitimate rights have been infringed upon the investigation organ ,they may don’t take the initiative to seek relief. China’s current legislation, which is related to the investigation organ’s informing obligation to suspects, is relatively simple and principled, does not provide procedural rules and safeguard mechanism. Investigative and judicial organs are not attached to the informing obligation in practice. It is a common phenomenon that the police don’t fully inform or passive inform. Do the studies on the investigation organ’s obligation of informing to the suspect, is not only beneficial to ensure that criminal suspects to exercise their litigation rights, protecting their human rights, but also conducive to citizens supervise investigation activities and realize the procedural rule of law. This paper, besides an introduction, the body has six parts, a total of three thousand words. The first part analyzes the concept and value of the investigation organ’s obligation of informing to the suspect. The investigation organ’s obligation of informing to the suspect refers that, during the process of investigation, the investigation organ should inform suspects their rights, duty and other information or items about the case. The investigation organ fulfill the obligation of informing is the prerequisite for criminal suspects rights and the foundation of defense, it’s also an important manifestation of protecting criminal suspects’ human rights in the investigation stage. It helps to restraint and standardize the investigation power. In addition, t
