Methods In this study, the social functions of 30 patients with bipolar affective disorder (bipolar affective disorder group ) in remission period, 28 healthy subjects (control group) and 26 patients with simple depressive disorder (depression group) admitted in our hospital were assessed by the disease activity score (GAS)? And the neurological assessment of memory, learning, attention and executive function of the three groups was carried out. Results The DAS score of the depression group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P0.05)? The bipolar affective disorder group was compared with the control group? The DAS score of the bipolar affective disorder group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P0.05) . Conclusion Patients with bipolar affective disorder in remission period can show social cognition and behavioral impairment in varying degrees, accompanied by more prominent psychological problems such as anxiety and disgrace .In the process of preve ntion and treatme nt of psychosis, the social psychological problems of this part of patients should cause ou
