Festivals 教学目标: 1.语言知识目标: 基本词汇:traditional,custom,lunar,stick,hang,celebration,couplet, lantern 基本词组:Spring Festival, fire cracker, set off, red packet, lucky money, Chinese knot, Spring Festival Gala Evening 基本句型:Spring Festival is on lunar January 1st. 技能目标:1)通过听、说、读、写复习与春节相关的词汇。 2)复习有关节日的名词。 3)复习日期的表达方式。 情感目标:了解传统文化习俗,激发爱国热情。 教学重难点: 利用思维导图讨论春节的相关知识。 用思维导图帮助形成写作框架。 教学过程与方法:本课是围绕春节话题展开复习介词,日期的表达,有关春节的词汇,用思维导图讨论春节的活动,习俗等,最后落实到写作。 教学过程: Step1.Greeting and Lead in 1. Students sing a song together. 2.T: Today we ‘ll talk about festivals.(板书)What festivals do you know? When is Children’s Day /Teachers’ Day? Task 1 :Write the dates for the festivals and write festivals for the dates. 3.Ask students to check the answers with his/her partners.(Pay attentions to the expressions of the dates.) 4.Individual students show answers by saying the whole sentences. Step2.Warm up 1.T: Which festival is the most important for Chinese people? (Ss:Spring Festival) Let’s watch a video about Spring Festival.As you watch,try to find out all the information mentioned and take some notes. 2.T:Tell us what you ‘ve found. 3.Individual students say ,teacher write on the blackboard. 4.Students read the phrases together. Step3.Group work 1.T: We talked about Spring Festival.Do you know the legends about it? 2.Students work in group of 4,discuss and finish off the mind map. T:Group1,You discuss about legends.Group2,about food.Group3and4,you discuss about customs. Group leaders report .Other groups listen carefully and add more. Step4.Writing T-St:Of all these festivals,which is your favorite?Why? Students write,T walk around and give some advice. Show some ss’ writing on the screen,analize and correct with students together. Step5.Summary and homework T-Ss:This class we’ve talked about some Chinese traditional festivals.Can you say any western festivals? Think of one western festival,make a mind map and write about it.
