Ss can listen, read and say main sentence patterns:
What are …’s hobbies?
He likes …(V+ing)
Ss can understand the dialogue and talk with each other.
Ss can understand these words: Jasmine Flower, teach, interesting.
Teaching importance and difficulties:
1. The sentences: What are …’s hobbies? He likes .
2. The third person singular present form.
3. The pronunciation of “interesting、Jasmine flower”

Purposes
Step1 Warm-up/ Review
1.Let’s play a game: Catch the plane.
2.Free talk:
T:Did you remember? The last two phases are: watching TV, listening to music. They are my hobbies. I like listening to music. I also like watching TV. What about you? What are your hobbies?
Ss:…..
T: So what are …’s hobbies? We can also say: what are his hobbies?(先让学生回答自己的hobbies,再指着他、她问全班同学,引出重点句型what are his /her hobbies?以及回答)。板书重点句型。
3.Introduce two friends
T:boys and girls, I am so happy to know some of your hobbies. You are my students. You are also my friends. I have many friends. Today, two of my friends come to the classroom. Look, the first one is a man. He is Mr bao. He has many hobbies. What are his bobbies?

(以同样的方法引出第二个朋友)。
