Section B 2b教学设计 Ⅰ.Teaching objectives: 1.Knowledge and abilities: to let students master the important words and phrases about the topic food, world, around the world, different, cake, candle, age, make a wish, blow out, if, will, the UK, candy, lucky, popular, get popular, cut up, idea, bring good luck to… to let students master the important sentence structures I’d like to do… What would you like to do? to let students know more about food culture and birthday culture around the world, and then to make students to have the ideas about culture differences and culture communication. 2. Procedures and methods: to help students learn how to use the reading strategies in the reading comprehension, such as prediction, scanning, and understanding parts of speech. to help students get the main idea of the text by the mind map. 3. Emotional attitudes and moral values: to let students believe there are so many culture differences around the world and the communication is very important. to let students have the sense of loving mother and family. Ⅱ. Teaching key points and difficult points: Key points: 1.to let the students learn how to use the reading strategies in reading comprehension. 2.to master the grammar words and sentence structures.
