Part 1 The analysis of the teaching material the status and functions of the lesson The lesson I am going to teach is from unit…., Book A of grade 8. This lesson is a reading passage, which focused on the topic of __________________, such a topic is related to our daily life, and the arrangement of the teaching content suits students cognitive level very well, so it is easy to arouse the Ss’ learning interests. Thus, it will finally promote the students comprehensive ability of using the language. 2.teaching objectives According to the New English Curriculum Standards,the overall goal of junior middle school English teaching is through listening, speaking, reading and writing training to make sure that our students get some basic knowledge of English and have an initial ability of using English and arouse students interests in learning English. So I decide that my teaching objectives should include the following parts.
