(S: Mandela was a black lawyer who offered guidance to poor black people on their legal problems. He was generous with his time. Elias was a poor black worker in South Africa. T: What’s the relationship between them? S: Mandela helped Elias and in return Elias was very grateful.) Why did Elias need help? (S: He needed help because he had little education. T: Why did he have little education? S: Because his family couldn’t continue to pay the school fees and bus fare. T: Exactly.
